I think he is actually an excellent leader. He puts the team before the individual in operational situations, he never asks someone to do something he either hasn't or wouldn't do himself, and he (rarely) puts what he wants in the way of what is right. He is an optimal leader in many sitautions. Not sure if he is appropriate to run a school, but I haven't seen him in the situation so I can't comment. I do understand how he defiantely needs someone to fill the gaps for him and his personality. Having an unstable partner makes it kinda difficult to not be a dick. But that is just his personality.

No offence), I'd have to say late spring, where it's closer to summer than winter, but it isn't quite full-force summer when you feel like you're half-swimming and wilting. Well finally 2008 is starting to turn back around. Those "formality" meetings with my manager's manager apparently weren't as much of a formality as I was told. She agreed that I deserved a better review and said she'd have my manager rewrite it. So yay!

And now I'm on a sugar high cause I got 2 dozen krispy kreme for everyone to celebrate. Yummy!

Aww. Hugs for MSB. I've seen it. Favorite was the principal of the alternative High School calling me because three of our kids were disrupting classes all day. When asked what they were doing he half laughed, half coughed.

Answer: "They were playing X-Men and somehow Jessica used a power that turned off all the computers in the computer lab. We still haven't figured out how she did it yet but its fixed."

Yeah. I covered the phone and laughed.

I miss that group of kids. How fun is a small group of 16/17 year olds who can play X-Men like preschoolers and not care what anyone says?

We didn't play x-men but in chem class in high school it was the year Star Wars Episode I was coming out. So, we did lightsaber fight with our rolled up lab manuals a lot.

I can distinctly remember the shaking head stares we'd get from the teacher that would make us get back to work.

Strange that the same stare was used for lightsaber fighting and for not doing any lab work and just starring at the one hottie in our class while she leaned over her lab table working. I don't know which of the two is more embarrassing to get caught doing. Well getting caught by the teacher...not the hottie.

Mob, this place is usually reserved for the ponderings of the men and women folk of the board. Started as trying to find understanding between the sexes and left open for asking simple yet sometimes complex questions on such things. Mostly we dork off between questions and keep in touch.

I was pondeing the other day but alas the biased party (she knows who she is) said there is little for me to improve upon. I do get jealous that women have more they can do to change their appearance. Not envious of the process though. I'm thinkin' of trimming my hair but aside from that there is little else I can do except for to shave and shower regularly (which I have no qualm with).

Fellas, what do you do to impress and ladies, what would you like to see more of?

Oh I so would have given those kids extra credit... I don't mind that kind of immaturity... I mind the whiny, tattle-tale, throw stuff, pick your nose and eat it, throw things at others and giggle, interrupt the teacher, calling the teacher Miss Lady or Miss or anything else because ( despite being here for a year) you have yet to learn her name, refuse to work, name calling, lying on the floor when the teacher says it's time to read, throwing an actual temper tantrum complete with arm flailing and legs kicking, seriously obnoxious immaturity.... sorry for the rant. You can so tell what kind of day it has been.... and yes everything on that list happened ( during 1 period) many behaviors have occurred in several periods...keep in mind that the average age of my students is 14 and that it is special ed, but not mentally handicapped special ed, normal IQ kids with ADD or dyslexia etc...

OK done ranting....

Your ponder is confusing. I get the first part but the "what would you like to see more of" part loses me. So, to impress ladies you go to toys r us and by a bunch of play money. Pardon my grammarz (fears grammar Nazi's). Mine was a ponder on how we as men can improve upon our asthetic appearance a bit. Since it will be getting warm soon my body is already leaning out. I notice how wore out I am and the need for protein is great. I might be looking for what would make me feel better and looking better is a step to that. Maybe some new clothes?

See this is where things get tricky...there is less generalization ( at least I think) in terms of what women find attractive. Men definitely aren't all the same, but they do tend to like 1- skimpy clothes 2- a bit dressed up just for them and 3- sexy attitude. Men are also far more visual than women so more likely to be struck by something they see. Women are more likely to be struck by a "feeling" they have about the guy. They tend to respond more strongly to body language and personality traits than the appearance...not saying women don't look at guy, but it's not the first thing that draws them...

Women are more specific to themselves. What attracts one woman will not likely attract others...
Personally
1- laughter
2- aggression
3- kindness
4- mischievous attitude
( notice there are no physical qualities listed...sorry)
5- nice butt
6- intense eyes

My list is not likely to have much in common with other women.. if there are items in common, they will not be in the same order... sorry guys we're just annoying that way

Not sure on the imrpovement NVG. Never actually tried. I do get bored from time to time and change it up a bit (like my bleached-blonde hair), but that is for me.

Granted I do grow out the facial hair out from time to time cuz the Little One likes it (and Laurelin absolutely hates it)but I get bored easily.

If the ladies like it all the more merry I guess.

I'm nothing like that by a long shot. Haven't messed with my hair at all since high school. I don't even care. If some girl came along and wanted to change it all I'd care about is how hard it is to maintain. I'm not going with something that takes 10 minutes to get ready in the morning. Yeah well time before that I got some ink and before that I got pierced and then that agin....

Now a days I can't afford to just walk into a studio and drop a couple hundred to get work done so I went cheap.

my hair is simple to manage... I wash it and put in some gell and towel it off... done.....takes like 3 seconds

'Never been too high on gel, plus I heard it can mess with your scalp in the long run. I like my hair long and wild I just put some stuff in it so it curls up nicely (...and I use the term loosely) and doesn't look too scraggy and then off I go.

Not too sure about what the ladies think of it though

Sorry for the hijack, but I believe I have a new ponder for us all.

Why is it, that even when you check the little remember my password box, you're still asked to re-sign in every once in a while? It seems to happen in every thread I respond in in a day, then time passes, and I do that again, and it gets really annoying, so I end up ranting a little about it sometimes

The font is Tall Paul, and this little line has gotten a lot of typos bacuase the comp keeps having these little mini-freezes, so off to re-start it.
