My thoughts are with you and your little girl, brother. I know things will turn out for the best, but at the same time, I know how scary it is taking your child to the ER in the middle of the night.

You aren't paying me for the room. Period. sister will be there, and that means there are still 4 of us to split it, so we will be fine.

MsB, HK, thanks for the care and support. Y'all know it's been a really rough month and a half or more and things just keep piling on. It means a lot that y'all are willing to come down here and stomp some ass for me, and if this keeps up, I'll be sending you names and addresses (you too Boothe).

Worry not about the room costs BC 1 - you take care of your family! If you can let us know how your daughter is, we would appreciate it. Emergency Appendectomies are scary - especially in the middle of the night! (Had mine during 8th grade math class!)... We will miss you, but our thoughts are with you and yours.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and well wishes. Audrey is better today. Her fever is down to 100 from the 104 of Thursday night and the abdomenal pains have subsided some. They thought it might be her appendix due to the abdomenal pains and her high white cell count, but after running tests they determined Friday morning it was severe Strep.

She's on meds now and should be fine.

Sorry I missed Chatta Con. I sure do miss seeing all of you.

Alas, we did not win the room party award, however, we got many, many compliments on our "outpost" theme! From our campfire (with crumpled packs of "Blue Sun" cigarettes, a "tripod" made of branches and with a metal pot hanging from it - to the huge panels of camo netting hung on the walls and Chinese lanterns, maps, posters, etc. on the walls as well! Within hours we'd gone through about 6 gallons of punch (rum and vodka)..cases of beer and a huge pile of Chinese food! (Oh, the basket of apples with a sign reading "apples are grizwald free" got lots of laughs from those that know the series! Zephyr had made up an entire box of matches with serenity, 76th and blue sun themes to give away and many, many folk asked about how they could find us! We had lots of fun (although Jimi has threatened to recommend me for a promotion -NOOOOoooooo!). I will leave the posting of pictures to those whose cameras actually captured the events!
