Not to get down on anyone or their preferances but three legendary bands I can go a very long time without hearing are:
Queen
Pink Floyd
Rush

Yeah, beat on me now. I know, BLASPHEMY!!!

But then again I liked listening to 311, Bush, and Sublime. (Though the latter is the only one I can stand to listen to day in and out)

Well, I am a total fan of all three, but I agree, they get played to death on radio, the same songs over and over. That's why I play the MP3 on my comp. And I do like the Gorillaz song you listed, bass line is very cool.

But, because you have blasphemed the tri-pantheon of musical greatness:

King of Somewhere Hot- Jimmy Buffett

Ironically it only got up to 30F today. Which is actually the warmest it has been in a very long time. It felt like summer! I could go out without my mask and gloves.
