Oh Asarian.... Might I just apologise in advance for what I am about to say.....
Maybe it's me, but I have issues with Winona's acting :(
Sorry. She kinda spoiled Edward Scissorhands....
On the plus side she was ok in LUCAS :D

No worries; nobody's fighting; war's long over; we're all just folks now. :)
I'm not a superfan of Winona or anything (or am I?); but, in earnest, I thought she did very well in Alien IV. Her Call character was tender, but not bittersweet. And very humane. I'm liking that: more human than her human crew. Naturally she can sell it well with those beautiful, wide eyes; but I found her whole acting and personage to be very agreeable. And her interaction with their 'Jayne' was constantly hilarious. :)
The whole hybrid alien itself, eh, it weren't all that good. But Alien IV really was assuredly a step up from the third installment. I still can't forgive em for killing off Newt so brutally. Little Miss "Affirmative" really was quite the star in Aliens.
