Heh, it isn't melting, that's the sad part. It was in the bright sunlight all afternoon and stayed looking exactly like that. It sparkled, so I thought it would make a nice macro shot.
Yeah, NV, as long as it's getting a lot of moisture, our grass is green in spots. Last winter was nuts. The lawn (when we could see the lawn) was greener than it was in summer.

I used the 'internal' function on my phone to get that one and it is, as a result, very little! I like that I can see what I am taking in mirror though, so I can compose pictures and if they are tiny I usually create a 'collage' of them! Thank you, again - that really means a lot coming from you!

Comfy - since I missed that one last time!
My precious Mei Mei and I after our first night at D*C! It was like we'd known each other all our lives! (Isn't she adorable?)
And cold! Well.. we don't do cold as well as you guys do up where it snows... so I only have... ummm...
OK... fogive me if you've seen these, but August is our coldest month and last August my family and I went for a train ride on Puffing Billy in the Dandenong Ranges! We're all rugged up against the cold and I am wearing my favourite colour! It's the best I could come up with... But the kids are cute in their coats and all!
EDIT: I thought I ought to explain the last one... when we were kids my Dad would take photos of us and insisted it was much more interesting if we appeared to be looking somewhere other than at the camera! He would get one of us to 'point at something' (usually nothing there of course) and we'd all look interested - it's a family joke now that whenever we get together, especially if Dad's taking the pic (as in this case) we do this ultra-fake, goofy "Oh look over there!" In a couple of different directions just for the sake of teasing my Dad!
