Mine's a old and battered dark brown Carhartt with an electrostatic layer sewn in, worn over a level II-A second chance vest.

Not really summer wear, but ya don't get a lotta summer (and even less summer glau! *pout*) up here in Detroit.

I bought mine before I saw the series but after I saw the movie, but not because of the movie. I bought it because my dad ruined my last one @_@ that one was black, when I went to the store I decided I liked the brown one I saw better, so I bought it. It looks all rugged and dirty and wrinkled :-D its great. I wear it with much pride, especially now that I'm a true browncoat.

I bought mine well before my love of the show. Regardless, it's detressed faux dark brown leather with a mandarin cut collar, similar to something that Zoe might wear, and it's one of my frequent favorites.

oooh... that reminds me... im gonna spend my hard earned wellfare money on a coat... with a kinda brownish colour...

just got to find one... not easy in the very fashion-enslaved sweden i can tell you unless you live in one of the, uuuh..., 2 major cities...

i might find one if i scurry about alot in Malmö tho... not sure tho

I actually had mine since before the show, but it used to just linger in the closet forever, but when I saw the movie, and the show on DVD, I started wearing it with pride. It's a brown silk jacket with a flowers motiff all over it, and it doesn't really match my style, but I wear it anyway .

Got my brown coat from my wife as a Valentines Day gift in '04. Been wearing it ever since. Wore it to work today. As a matter of fact I have used it as part of my Mal costume at cons and get togethers and wear it when the weather is cool enough. Got quite a few compliments on it.

not only did my mom make me my jayne hat, she made a matching scarf.

my mom is shiny. she made the hat in two days while visiting her brother in a ny hospital to her sister in law in a nj hospital. my dad and her spent their christmas vacation driving back n forth between and still made time to have dinner with my brother and i. so i'd like to give them recognition here on the boards.
