I had no problem booking the 28th thru the 30th. Need to extend my stay thru the 1st, but I have my room at the Marriott for at least the first three days.

Blackadder.... ooh the Marriott is evil( but hey it's D*C and you have to stay somewhere... just DON"T throw any paper over a balcony...they don't take that at all well.

Actually, just found out that flights from England land fairly late in the day, so I bumped my reservation up to the 28th, and there was no issue at all, so I don't see why they'd have you waitlisted. If they keep being stupid, though, I'll ask Dano about you camping with us for that night 
Oh, and what time is the wedding?

I don't know. You guys are kinda camera happy. Would be pretty hot and unbearable to have to wear my Nixxon Mask for that long of a time period.

Err, I just tried to extend my reservation at the Marriott for the night of 8/31, and they told me that every single room, even the D*C block, are sold out.

Oh sure Kelkhil...hide behind HK just 'cause we're all too afraid to stop her... giggle.. and by the way I got more than a few HK shots... so she's not as sneaky as she thinks ( won't post them 'cause I love her dearly...but I got em...and they make me smile)
Oh and Rose ..such a sweet offer, but if it doesn't work I will drag Joe to meet more of my extended family ( pray for him) and spend the night with them ( kinda want to show him off and all anyway) Giggle
