Hey all,

had a day of low level general crappiness yesterday, which apart from writing off the day, kept me away from here.

How we all doing? Hope you had good weekends/beginning of week, I shall mostly be working until I can go home, and then onto band practice.

Cranking out my guitar amp for the first time in a while.

*magics up a round of drinks for everyone onto the bar, except for the correctly chilled dews which are brought into existence in shadowy corners for any passing ninja felines*

I'm thankful for sushi being popular in Australia so I can buy some good stuff whenever I want!

I am grateful for neices, nephews and the kids I nanny - they keep me sane and remind me I am loved... always!

I am soooooooo grateful for finding friends online one of whom didn't think twice about flying half way around the world just to hug me!! (& I didn't think twice about travelling half way around the world to hug her again and many more besides!)

I am grateful for anything Joss Whedon has created!

I am so very happy for being capable of at least considering falling in love again when I thought my heart was too disfuncional!

I am so very grateful for friends who talk to me when they are still half asleep first thing in their morning and last thing at my night!

I am grateful for seeing friends who've been to hell and back where relationships are concerned, going from strength to strength and being properly appreciated as they ought to be!

I am grateful for one week in the bed of the HGF!!

Oh and I am grateful that my parents went away for a couple of nights so I might actually be able to catch up on some posting here for once!!

Then again, I have to cull my belongings... sort out the stuff going into storage... work out how I am going to take all the crap I can't bear to leave behind when I go to the UK... work out how I am going to afford my airfare... work out how I am going to leave the kids in Australia... work out how I am going to leave someone else when I have a stopover on my way to the UK... work out how I am going to catch up with eveyone I want to in the shortest time possible!

'Scuse me - I am hyperventilating so I'd best... *thud*

I am sure there is some behind the bar, I believe it carries a full range. Of course, being as stereotypically interested in tea as I am means the bar is usually well stocked!

I am not too bad, they took my toe nail off in December so I can walk again stomach is still a pain but hopefully the consultant will have something useful to say on Thursday, I'm also in the middle of looking for a new guitar player for my band so mostly I am rushing round like a lunatic.

Oh yes, and I passed my first OU physics module and have now started my two years worth of maths modules before I can get back to studying physics!

The migratory potted palm plant stops inching towards a fallen Magda as she revives and reverses direction again.

There is a hot cup of chamomile tea on the floor where it came to rest.

Chalk it up to a superior watering hole in the corner, nothing to see here.

I am grateful for a Magdalena who understands that she is not being snubbed, her Rosie simply hasn't figured out how to text message yet. (I iz deplorabli stttooooopiiiid..)

I tried responding but I think I hit the send button too soon and you may have gotten a cryptic pair of letters, as I was trying to delete a mistake.

GOT to learn how to use my phone for something other than talking and taking pictures!

You can have a pleasant chat with Doctroid sometime.
If your relative areas of expertise overlap.
I married me a physicist of the experimental particle flavor (medium energy).
It involves speeding poor little particles up in an accelerator and listening to them hit the wall/go splat.

He is a sick, sick, man. Poor little particles....

Oh my darling Rosie!! That is delicious Chammomile tea! Thank you!

And I think you're rhyming... or did I hit my head on the way down?

I adore you so my wonderful friend - I didn't really expect you to reply to my texts - I was just excited to realise I could actually text you!!!

Mwaaah! How are you these days? Over all your dreadful lurgies?

I feel a little sorry for those atoms...

lol,

SR, I am just stepping up from reading coffee table books to actually studying it at uni level so I don't think I have an area of expertise yet!

Having said that, I actually understand what he is doing, do you know what type of particle he so harshly accelerates and flings at other poor particles?
