If referring to "Well now, that has an effect on the landscape" it is from Pilot, when Dobson has Mal's hands up, then Simon's, and Mal goes to pick up his gun "is there a reward (for Simon)?", Dobson gives him the "backbirth" line, saying Mal is culpable and Dobson does not think they are really delivering Alliance supplies to Whitefall.
When Mal understands that Dobson will hand them over to the Alliance along with Simon, this line comes.

This is just before Kaylee is shot.

I just love the tone in his voice when he says that, how he's paying almost no attention to Jayne and doesn't seem to care at all :-P

As I mentioned, this line caught me on first viewing...and then "forgotten 'till now"...

Some of Mozart's contemporaries commented, sorta whining/complaining with jealousy - that he was TOO full of great musical ideas, and used them too liberally, to the effect that one great idea was barely digested before another & another was introduced... perhaps this could be said of the prodigious font of great dialog that Whedon/Minnear
proved themselves to be to us astute fans!
After now watching the series at least 8 - 10 times each, I am still astounded at how much detail and nuance still is revealed each time. All Hail the BDH!
