For me Obama was 14 points, Clinton was 12 and Gravel was 11 Ron Paul was 8th with 7 points, one ahead of Giuliani

Obama with 19 points, which I could have guessed.
Clinton with 17 points, which surprises me. We're not on the same page with education, though, which I think knocks off another point.
Richardson also with 17 and also with education clash.
Edwards with 14
Giuliani with 13 (he's probably the only rebublican I've considered voting for)
Kucinich with 13
McCain with 12
Huckabee with 10
Hunter with 9
Romney with 9
Thomson with 9
And Ron Paul with 6

Guess I'll continue to support Obama.

I was surprised at Clinton's performance in mine as well, I expected her to be a notch or two lower. Of course the problem is that I don't think she's at all genuine so I have a hard time taking a result that depends on her meaning what she says seriously.

As a P.S. to the previous post:

And of course the entire exercise is dependent on the test creators interpretations of the candidates positions and it is limited in the number of positions it measures, for instance if Hero's statements about Obama's position on gun control are correct (and I have no reason to doubt them) then we disagree on that point as well.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all about the right to bear arms, but I don't think enforcing gun laws and making it more difficult for criminals and children to get their hands on them is a bad idea.

I don't think that being cautiously ashamed, or selectively ashamed, or in any way ashamed of who I am is any way to live my life.

Certainly, I have my own ideas about gun control but I definitely don't think it should be eliminated. Thing is IIRC Obama wants to ban the sale of semi-auto weapons, I don't think he'll get it but it's ridiculous.

Clinton's up pretty high, but I wouldn't vote for her even if she agreed with me on all the issues (and made me Supreme Overlord, of course ). Kucinich seems fine, but I doubt he'll be able to win a state primary, much less the Democratic nomination.

The only thing that I really don't like about Obama is his stance on the death penalty. If he didn't have so much else in his favor, it would be a deal-breaker for me. Plus, since there are only three people on that list that agree with me, I doubt that anyone who is against the death penalty will be president for a while. Sigh.

(And if you think the above was an invitation to start a debate about the death penalty with me, please don't. The current environment - RWED - is not particularly suited for it. Although if you really, really want, feel free to PM me.
