As an avid reader, I wanted to share this website for any Browncoats that are fans of books (the literary type, not our favorite Shepherd(or is he??...). It also allows you to rate books (Like the various Serenity/Firefly guides and novelization).

Looking at your list now and we seem to have similar taste in books. I was looking for a few new ones and I'm making a run into the book store tomorrow. Thanks.

I've never had an easier time getting recommendations for what to read. I'm a hugemongous reader though. I picked up "The Overlook" by Michael Connelly today, and finished it while driving around town doing chores and going to appointments.

Well, not while driving... :P

I've tried reading and driving before, doesn't work so well. Especially for the more engrossing books.

Anyway theres a few on your list I've considered but after seeing how you rated them I may just pick them up. I just finished reading Ender's Game for the first time and was very impressed. Probably picking up the sequels.

Right now I'm just reading Farmer Giles of Ham (haven't read it in nearly ten years) and the Firefly Official Companions (for perhaps the twentieth time).

Sequels that equal the original are hard to find... I think that's why Dean Koontz almost always starts over, although to be honest, I have a hard time remembering which story was which with his work.

Nothing against the enjoyment of the writing...

Ah well I may just forget the Ender's game sequels. I'd rather not read them than ruin the first book.

Skip the sequels. Your times better spent on other books. I regret the time lost reading them. Life is getting too short. Mount ToBeRead is ever rising.
