What's with all the decorations - and why must they stay on until March? Driving through east texas once upon a time - for no good reason... i actually saw the season greetings spray-painted on the sides of several houses - usually mispelled - and colorful, festive cans and bottles playfully strewn about the yard....could of been a brothel or something... don't know... the thing i'm venting about (this time) is the decor... why decor?... me? you'd be lucky if i turn on the porch light for visitors on a pitch black night.. but that's just me.... people actually spend weeks if not months (not to mention wads of cash) thinking of clever ways to make colored light shine from every oriface of baby jebus...

So, i say enough is enough... let's pull the plug people - i haven't had a decent night's sleep since Sid, my neighbor, outlined every conceivable object on his property with flashing green and blue lights... christ - it's enough to keep the wolves awake....

Thanks for the opportunity for a New Years' rant:

Screw people talking on cell phones on the highway!
Screw people who weave in and out on the highway (w/o signaling), putting YOUR life at risk, just so they can get where they're going 5 minutes faster...and if they're on a cell phone, screw 'em twice!
Screw ESPN for its' round-the-clock boring, tedious, mindlessly mundane coverage of Roger Clemens whinings of innocence.
Screw the Media for making Britney Spears' life adventures part of my daily conciousness...I never gave a f**k before, and I don't now...who does?
Screw Senator Larry Craig and his never-ending efforts to get his conviction of homosexual solicitation tossed....resign like a man, ya big fruitloop!
Screw the studios & producers in Hollywood...they make millions, the "actors" make millions...but the folks that write the shit, provide the actual product make pennies!
Enough rants for now....
Now a special note of thanks to Dennis Kucinich. You cracked me up the other day introducing YOUR big Hollywood star ( I guess to compete with Oprah or Chuck Norris...none other than Viggo Mortenson. Hey Viggo, I luv ya man, but hearing you talk about Denny's political attributes was just a howlfest.
