Anyway -- here's an interesting tid bit about me... I'm currently posting from under my car at the shop while trying to figure out how to fix something that I don't rightly have a way of fixing.
---> www.firestorm98.com <-- my car.
This car and I have been through so much together that I can't begin to tell the stories. ANYWAY - he's been down for about a month waiting on some parts to come in and I was hoping to take him home tonight....
But ... I don't think that's gonna happen.
... okay, back to staring at the bottom of my car in thoughtful wonderment.

What number is your Hawk, and what's wrong with it? Or, is that a '98 clone?
Oh, I see you have various different hoods, I was thrown by the clone hood and emblem.
My 2 favorite internet activities seem to involve products which were both killed in 2002, Firefly and Firehawk.

I do thank you all for, again, for the wonderful greatings - and after the day I had yesterday - I've got a strong need to be sampling your newest crate of Mudders Milk. (Though pass the strawberries first, if you will!)
Seems, most of the posting and chatting I've been doing has been on my laptop thus far, but the desktop tucked back in the corner is where I do most of my conjuring. I’ve been playing with some fonts and a few Firefly/Serenity design ideas that might eventually be worthy of sharing… once their fully developed.
Jewel – ‘tis only too sad that such wonderful things were set to fade away at the same time – just another good reason to tie them together I figure. – And you’ve got a bit of an eye to see that mine’s just the shadow of a Formula Firehawk … sans spoiler, rims … and engine. – Someone at a meet once told me the car was no longer a Firestorm and I best be thinking of something else to call it – which is where “Firestorm” came from.
I keep telling people some day I’ll buy a 2002 Firehawk… and restore it. ;)
Now … let me migrate over to my desktop and pick up where I left off on that design idea.
… but there’s an interesting thread about capturing that I’ve got an incl’ing to check out first.

Welcome Pathogen!
There is plenty of Mudders Milk (or anything else you might want) over at the Browncoat Bar and Grill thread. Stop on by.

The Formy Spoiler could not be upgraded, so your spoiler is the same as any Formula Firehawk. As long as the tires are at least 17s by 275s, which it looks like yours are now, you're within the performance range and appearance of other authentic Hawks (although not stock).
So, really, the most obvious difference is the engine, including all the intake and exhaust upgrades. I suspect the speedometer doesn't get to 170, plus other differences most people won't know about.
I have #796.
Here is mine, with 2 modifications - sheepskin seatcovers and 285s at all 4 corners:
