It took a little less than 60,000 nominations to get Dark Shadows in the top 40. Red Dwarf was 1,641 this morning and has been running about 30 noms per day. You do the math. We need lots more people nominating Red Dwarf to take it to the top 40.

Top two shows as of this morning:

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

Total votes Firefly: 515,152 (514,264)

Total votes Xena: 442,047 (441,598)

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 888 times (835). Some better.

Yesterday, Xenites voted 449 times (477).

(Xenites voted 439 (358) times less than Browncoats, yesterday.

Firefly is 73,105 (72,666) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #35 show The Simpsons, 68,427!

Yesterday, Browncoat votes rose by 53, 6.35%; Xenite votes fell by 28, 5.87%.

520,000 is 4,848 votes, and, 5.46 days away!

5,417,230 (5,406,364) votes have been counted as of 01/01/08. Yesterday, 10,866 (10,211) votes were cast. In order to take ownership of 10% of all votes cast yesterday, we needed to vote 1,087 (1,022) times, of which we fell short by 199 votes. Our share fell to 9.5095099 (9.5121973%) of all votes ever cast.

Yesterday, our vote percentage fell, again. If we don't do much better, we could lose our 10% slice of the voting pie, in just a few days! I like a big piece of pie!

In other TV Vote news:

Buffy got 371 (340) votes, yesterday. Currently, Buffy is not currently receiving enough votes to pass #6 show Battlestar Galactica, which received 410 (440) votes, yesterday.

Battlestar Galactica is set to overtake #5 show Farscape in 31.53 (21.94) days, at current voting rates.

Angel got 331(298) votes, and, passed Lexx to become the #11 show! Angel is currently not receiving enough votes to pass #10 show Combat! which received 403 votes.

Finally, Dark Shadows got 411 (403) votes, passing Alias to take the #38 position, and, is now set to overtake #37 show Northern Exposure in 11.87 (13.8) days.
