I've yet to see the trailer for Jumper. I've been having alot of trouble with my connection lately and can't stay connected for more that an hour...
Anyway the concept sounds interesting but I'm a bit wary about the fact they cast such a iffy actor in the lead. I've never seen anything Hayden Christensen's ever done that even hinted he could act. Oh well time will tell, I've seen other actors I felt were horrible or just not very skilled turn out great much later in their career. I'll probably wait until it hits the $3.00 a seat theater either way.

I don't need to watch Hayden, reminds me too much of Ryan Phillipe who also annoyed me.
But I conjure Rachel Bilson and Leslie Anne-Robb will keep me engrossed.

Oh I missed that they were in it. Hmmm.... may be that I should check it out, that type of acting skill could make up for Hayden. I'll start the download and hopefully in seven hours when I wake up it'll be almost done

As am I. Hopefully they can keep to the core ideals and feeling of the books. It would be a shame if they couldn't do them justice.
I am a major believer in the huge differences between film and other forms of media. I KNOW the films will be different, it all depends on what sort of film they make and if they decide to just dumb it down for the Reality TV and McDonalds crowd.

on topic though, Cloverfield, if the hobbit is out in '08 then it, Jumper, and thats all I can think of.
