I heard about the series and the movie over the past few years, but only recently began watching the series on DVD. (All give thanks to our lord, Netflix.) I have to say that this is one of the more impressive sci-fi series I have seen in a while, BSG excluded.
I have just seen "Ariel," and being an ex-paramedic, I got a good chuckle at it, especially when the crew was trying to learn medicalese.....It was an interesting vision of medical care in the future, though, it seems as if they haven't done much style-wise for medic uniforms....;-)
I especially enjoy how well developed these characters are, which you don't always find in new television series that are (were) very new. All in all, I can't wait to finish the series, then check out them movie.

Welcome aboard Staleek. Always great to have new faces about. Enjoy the rest of the series and the BDM.

Appreciate the welcome. Well, the pilot was really something, I have to say. So far though, "Out of Gas" and "Our Mrs. Reynolds" are favs. "Ariel" though I really enjoyed, since it kinda hit home a little with me. (Health care stuff, even though I retired 8 years ago.)

My mom (who is a nurse) liked that episode for that reason as well. She loved it when Zoe knocked out a smart-ass doctor with a defibrillator and says "Clear".

LOL! Yeah, that doc reminded me of a 2 trauma surgeons I used to run across in Brooklyn.....I told one off once in front of her little minions for copping an attitude with me, (and she never got smart with me again.) and the other was just an ass......

I love Ariel too.
