I'm sorry but what stupid fool would even waste their time doing such a petition - I mean each to their own, and I think it's all actually quite HI-larious myself (apart from those here that had their sigs snatched) but the shows been gone from FOX for over a year so why waste your time trying to stop it returning to FOX - most likely Joss will take it somewhere else anyway - not to mention that- why would FOX care anyway they're the ones that canned it in the first place.
The whole thing is quite silly really, with no real purpose or effect.
and yeah I agree, it sounds very much like someone (1) wrote the whole thing themselves - get a life, if ya don't like a show, then watch something you do like - it's that easy dumbass.

I wouldn't take it too seriously UCLAMathGuy. Looks like nothing more than one or two people who have some mad on for Firefly and are making up or stealing names & making idiotic comments. Just reading the foolishness they wrote should tell you that no one anywhere, especially at Universal, will take this trash seriously.
It sucks they stole your name, and I would definitely send an email to the PtB over at the website to let them know you did not sign the petition and you want your name removed. The least they will do is remove your name. The best case scenario will be that they remove that travesty altogether.

Okay... this is clearly a practical joke. I don't know who is behind it, but no one could possibly read these comments and take them seriously.
I will agree with one thing, though. Firefly should be kept off of Fox. It ought to be aired where it will be appreciated and treated well. Hell, I'd rather see it on HBO. At least they're favorable to Westerns and Original Thinking there.

I am also going to ask for the information of the people that forged my signature and get a lawyer knocking at their door. This is illegal and is considered identity theft and if someone doesn't catch at something like this then they will most likely forge credit cards and social security cards to steal someone identity and money if they aren't already.
I'm going to contact both my District Attorney today and see if actual legal action can be made against these assholes.
