I'd be FUMING too, if it were my name!
I would contact the originator of the petition (or at least webmaster of the site), inform them of the shenanigans, demand that your name be removed, and that the individual(s) who can be traced as having posted your name be censured in some way (say, with a Chain Of Command).
Then, if you've got some time and money to burn, you might consult with (shudder) an attorney, to see if any redress is available (whether criminal, for ID theft, or civil, punitive-wise). This last should not be done lightly, as the courts are clotted enough as it is. But I for one wouldn't judge you for going that way. One doesn't have to lose money for ID theft to still be a Big Deal, IMHO.

Someone read your name on this board then put it on that petition. Had to make sure they didnt do the same to me. Since they picked on you it might be someone you know. Have you broken up with anyone lately?
I am not worried about the bullet with my name on it. Just the thousands marked "Occupant".

Yes, I think you're right. Daniel (and any other whose name has been stolen), I strongly suggest you contact Petition Spot and tell them what's going on - they're not interested in rogue petitions, as it undermines their own reputation.
Though I can't help thinking it's more of a sarcastic black humor that's behind this than bona fide hatred of the show - check out some of the comments, e.g.: "Bill the Janitor: dis sho wuz like somfin offa my mop. I eat poo." or "itsgonarain: And children's parents will throw feces at them from the rooftops??" or "Grandpa Joe: My grandson made me watch that show and it gave me hemorrhoids! Thanks a lot." Can't take those too seriously.

I know for a fact that one of the names on that list is an alias of Succatash (a member here)... and he would also never say the comment that they have him saying.
