To all and to all a good dark cycle.
I think I see a flying saucer, though it could just be a weather balloon. (Shyah, right.) Anyway there is this little wrinkly thing handing out little bits of candy coated peanut butter and chocolate and asking to use a cell phone.
But first a bit of house keeping. The carpet (supermegacomfy as per usual) goes on the floor, the trees (festively decorated with icons from more religious traditions than you might think are scattered about the room (we even have one of those Festivus pole thingys around here somewhere) and there are punch bowls filled with 'nog, grog, and things resembling 'nog and grog.

It's been a sad day for me (sorry to start the thread off thusly). Our dwarf hamster got a tumor, so we took her to be euthanized today ;(

Thanks, mai mai dear. I've only cried twice in the past 7 years, and both times it's been because of an animal...I loves them.

Ooh. Blast from the past that was. Remember brunch on the twelfth floor? that's where I showed up. I was all the newbie and everything and look at me now. Starting threads and everything.

I can't belive this thread has been going for over two years ! And I can't believe we didn't celebrate our second birthday! We have 2 birthdays worth of celebrating to catch up on.
