My bf's car doesn't have 4wd, so WE almost got stuck because there were two people in front of us who stopped because taht other car was tryign to get unstuck and they didn't want to chance passing him and either meeting someone head on at the top of the hill, or him finally getting free and t-boning them. they finally did move, and our car's tires stopped spinning (he'd been stepping on the gas this whole time trying to regain traction from having stopped, and it didn't feel like it was gonna happen) enough that we got up the hill and continued on our way. but the reason that even happened was because the roads were practically unplowed. I mean, i've NEVER in my nineteen years of living in new england seen a main road THAT bad. ridiculous.
