Entertainment Weekly put out a list of..hey, did you read the Subject line?! Top 25 Sci-Fi movie/tv shows for the last 25 years.

Pretty good list actually..though Firefly should have been higher up, of course :P we got #15

It didn't have aliens, so studio execs had no character to relate to or empathize with.
And, without aliens, execs felt no professional courtesy was required.
Or maybe because Nathan booked a meeting with the producer just to tell him how happy the cast and crew were to come to work everyday, and thanked him for producing the show (reportedly a Hollywood first), so the network had to show him that sort of thing isn't allowed in showbiz.

Maybe there should be a Top Ten list for Why Was Firefly Cancelled.

OK top 25 with cartoons hmmm don't agree. Firefly and Serenity middle of the road this means war.

I came by from savesurface.com to share this "list" with you guys and see you already have seen it.

We can't stop laughing. Not only did they leave Surface off the list, but your show, which should have been near the top was way down at 15th.

This is about the stupidest list in history, considering that E.T. came out 26 yrs ago, they think the Star Wars Clone movie is the best, they listed Aliens instead of the vastly superior Alien, Eternal Sunshine (a good movie) is only "Sci Fi" in the broadest stretch of the concept, and Starhip Troopers???? They must have forgotten to list their other favorite Battlefield Earth.
