Help me prove a point!

I am currently having a slight dispute with a fellow Browncoat over whether or not the swearing in Firefly and Serenity is Mandarin or Cantonese. I know it is said on one of the DVD extra's but I can't actually remember whereabouts it is and I thought this would be the quickest way to find out. Could somebody help us?

It's poorly pronounced Chinese. XD
Both Mandarin and Cantonese dialect, but mainly tried to be Mandarin.
