Please test your image posts in one of the many 'test' threads scattered over the board, particularly out of the way in troll country, or start your own to help keep the tutorial nice and easy to load.

My final project for photoshop class was 'an introspective self-portrait' so instead of posting a more conventional picture, here's what I came up with:

It's handmade and comes from a little shop called The Afternoon ( www.theafternoon.com). They deal with a lot of artists' handmade things, so the stores are all a bit different. Which is awesome if you have two stores within striking distance, but that means their website is severely lacking in all Teh Awesome things, like this lamp.
(They've also started selling jewelry under the artist brand "Firefly." I swear, the logo on their little homemade tags is the logo from the series... so I bought one... it's shiny...) ^^

It's a cute lamp, but I still feel it has some kind of signifigance I'm missing. Maybe I'm not a geek?
