double hat trick
my friend and I were talking online and we were talking about parents and he said "they go monkeyshit at the wrong word."
Another quote user has been born. My work here is done *takes a bow*

Or fly to the heavens that watch over you?
"I am a leaf on the wind, watch how I soar."

I use this one whenever the teenage stepson is bemoaning the "unfairness" of whatever.... or if someone at work (I work in a call center) is making unreal expectations (although then I say it when they're on mute).
Also, shiny is well used.

First off let me say that I am a New York Yankees fan who wears his colors proud, and I am susceptible to road rage, and some dumbasses want to stay close to my ¾ ton truck in a snow storm for safety, but not behind me. They want to be right in front of me. I slow my truck down from 65 mph to 55 in snow storms because a vehicle with a high center of gravity like mine is not as stable on the road even while in four wheel drive, and people will drive at a higher rate of speed until they pass me then slow to 55 to be right in front of me. To combat this when I see it is about to happen, I speed my truck up until they pass and then slow down so there should be enough distance between us, but some people don’t want that and I am beginning to hear myself say “I swear by my pretty blue bonnet I will end you.” What scares me is that someday I might just actually push one of these people off the road one day if provoked, because one day a few years back I tried pushing an unmarked State Trooper off the road for f***ing with me on the highway. I didn’t get arrested or even a ticket for that incident, but I did get a very stern talking to by the Trooper, and I did talk to my councilor at the VA about this, and I have gotten better, but sometimes I feel my old self emerging. If people do not understand my quote New York Yankees caps are blue

I just added a couple quotes to my ever-growing list of away messages on AIM. I'm up to 73 for firefly and 39 for serenity. i think i have a neurological problem, lol.

I rarely swear out loud, but I'm always swearing in my head and gorramn/gorrammit is now appearing with some frequency.
My friend always likes to say we're going to die when we jaywalk. I always reply with "We're too pretty to die!"
I also say "Grr Argh" alot, usually when I'm dragging myself off to go study.

I totally say "Grrr arrgghh" all the time.
I try to pull out the off the wall statements. The other day I asked my roomie, "What's the math on that?" very Mal-style. Then later I was told her I would do the dishes, and I said "I am ready with the fearsome dish washing" very Wash-style. It's all just so gorram quotable!!!

The speech pattern used in Firefly/Serenity has a very nice cadence to it. I could always stand to hear a little more.

I think I have definitely started swearing in Chinese a lot (e.g., qingwa cao de liumang), and I've taught a friend a couple phrases. I also say 'shiny' instead of 'cool'.
