Didn't get the job yesterday
Drove for 5 hours, did a 15 minute teaching session (realising as I did it that I'd aimed it a bit too high a level but not having time to adjust), wasn't shorlisted and then had to drive 6 hours home (in horrible weather).
Not a fun day and I possibly ODed on caffiene tablets and Red Bull to stay awake.

Versailles was pretty. Lots and lots of splishy splashy fountains. Some flowers and stuff too.
(Hugs Em, sees an empty Dew can and replaces the void with a full one, glomps anyone who stands still long enough, hopes MsB is having fun wherever she is, and giggles because she knows that in theory Australia is actually quite toasty right about now.)
Perhaps if you make some HC and say in a loud voice "My goodness how cold it is out! I think I shall have this lovely cup of hot chocolate to warm myself." while shivering vigorously the weather will be fooled and actually drop ten or twenty degrees in a vicious attempt to make you miserable.
Hey, it's worth a try and if it doesn't work you've still got the cocoa!

It always gets quiet over the weekend. Although technically it is now Monday for me as I have finished marking in the wee small hours again. Pooh, another week. On the other hand, last week of term! What a joyous thought!
