Help!!!! I need technical assistance!
The links I have inserted within my stories so that a reader can jump directly from chapter to chapter are no longer working. They worked before the first virus attack back in June but ever since then all that shows up is HTML code.
Like this:

Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong? I’d really appreciate it. I want to get this figured out and fixed before I start posting my next epic in a couple weeks.

Ok this is really weird. the html code that shows up in my post is different than what I typed in. Even when I go back to edit the post the ["Prologue NOTIFY: Y | REPLY | REPLY WITH QUOTE | PERMALINK | TOP | HOME
The attack required a few things, (at least) one of them being execution of javascript (I believe), probably on an html tag. Thus, html tags were disabled. This somewhat remains for obvious reasons.
The reason why it isn't doing what you tell it to do is because Haken is filtering links. Not sure how exactly he's doing it, but certainly what you type is NOT what you're going to get.
The short answer is, don't use html, just post the link. At least here in the forums, the scripts auto-magically turn a url into an actual link. Not sure what the status is in the bluesunroom. But, give it a try. You might have to do something like:
Prologue: http://the.url.goes.here
But, at least it'll work. Even if someone has to copy'n'paste the url into there address bar to go there.

Thanks so much for your explaination. I tried your suggesetion to just post the url, and a link did not appear. But at least the url is there if someone wants to find it.
I have tried emailing hayken to see if he will enable me to have links but he has not responded. oh well, he is proabably really busy.
