Thanks :) I have a kick ass geography teacher who made the class really interesting (Cities in the Western Tradition, so yeah, we talked about cities the entire. semester.) I thought the class was going to be barely survivable, but he's been to some really cool places and used the stories of his travels to help teach the class. it was really f-ing awesome. I could have rambled on for like the equivalent of a page about cities instead of just Greece, Versailles, and DC, but ppl probably would have gotten impatient with me, lol. I'm kinda sad that his class is over now.

Did you know the Industrial Revolution started in England with textile plants in 1774, and the reason we started one over here in the States in 1820 was because Francis Lowell went over to England, saw the factories, and said "i can do better" so he built factory towns in what is now Lowell, Mass.?

Oh and Boston used to be a tiny island in the middle of a swamp but in the 1800s they flattened all the hills in the area and used the dirt to fill in the swamp area and expand the city. Ha! I made Playdough for my 18-20 year olds recently (for them to use in their scale models of exotic animal enclosures). Cought one guy eating it and a girl had some rubbed into her hair. I think I should teach at primary school, they'd be more mature.

Didn't get the job yesterday
Drove for 5 hours, did a 15 minute teaching session (realising as I did it that I'd aimed it a bit too high a level but not having time to adjust), wasn't shorlisted and then had to drive 6 hours home (in horrible weather).
Not a fun day and I possibly ODed on caffiene tablets and Red Bull to stay awake.
