Has anyone heard whether these shows will be released on DVD?(maybe not the last couple seasons of Sliders
Isn't it kinda funny that all of these shows were on Fox? I didn't watch Wonderfalls because I was afraid if I really got into it, Fox would cancel it, which they eventually did. I'm actually surprised X-Files lasted as long as it did considering it isn't one of those "safe" shows that networks seem to favor so much.

There was something several months ago on one of the Millennium sites where you could put your name on a list of potential buyers if Millennium got released to DVD. Don't remember where. Quantum Leap is being released to DVD in June. I've already got the first set pre-ordered on Amazon.

Seasons 1 & 2 of "Sliders" will be released on August 3.
Season 1 of "Millennium" will be sometime in July, no specific date announced yet.
"Harsh Realm - Complete Series" has been announced for summer this year, nothing more definite than that right now.
A release of "The Lone Gunmen" is being considered, and will probably be determined by how well these others sell.

I'm sorry, but the Lone Gunmen SUCKED. I loved them on the X-files, but the shows were waaaay too goofy. They were trying to make them funny. Right from the pilot, with the Mission Impossible spoofs and what not. They could have made them much much "cooler" in a way that did not make them come off as ridiculous. Jimmy Bond? jeeez.
They could have played more on their connections. These guys are supposed to be *connected*! Instead, they just got anything they needed through their comp. I mean they could have played up the Lone Gunmen as being a nexus of deep dark secrets.
The only interesting part was the whole conspiracy to crash the plane that what's his face's father was involved with.
Should have kept it much much darker.... JEEZ they RUINED my perception of them.
Ain't. We. Just.

I have to admit, I was very hopeful after the pilot of LGM. it seemed sort of like the X-Files, but for hard-core geeks. Then, everything went downhill. I didn't like Jimmy. I didn't like the attempts at humor, adn teh complete removal of interest in the characters. The first episode fascinated me becasue it really got into Byers' head, and that was very interesting. Then, though, the writers went for chariacture instead of character. So, they probably screwed themselves in the end.
Which is too bad, because the idea of the series was a solid one.
"Once, just once, I'd like to be able to land someplace and say, 'Behold, I am the Archangel Gabriel.'"
"I fail to see the humor in that situation, Doctor."
"Naturally. You could hardly claim to be an angel with those pointed ears, Mister Spock. But say you landed someplace with a pitchfork . . ."
