I can see where there is a likeness to Alan, but I don't think it was him for two reasons. One his voice seemed too deep or scratchy from cigarettes to be Alan's and this guy had naturally dark sandy hair while Alan is blonde.
I take it from the lack of responses nobody knows if Alan was often asked about Dread Pirate Steve?

Maybe it's just me, but I think it could be him. You might want to put this up over at Whedonesque and see if someone over there recognizes it. I think it's him from the eyes and jawline. The hair could be a wig or a dye job, since part of it was "burned off" anyway.

I ain't rightly sure, there's things says it's him, things says it ain't.
I'd say just go out ther eand search for info, find out from peeople who will know.
