Come Back by Josh Rouse, off the album 1972.
Okay the quality of this really sucks. It sounds amateurish, but in reality it’s a really cool bluesy tune.

Check out this couple doing the West Coast to Come Back. Whatever competition this is, these guys rule, and the acoustics are a lot better too, for some reason.

Apologies ~ Grace Potter & the Nocturnals
"My love is like a blanket
That gets a little bit too warm sometimes
I wanna wrap somebody in it
Who can hold me in his arms
Cause when it got a little too hot in there
He was always stepping out for air and he froze
Oh he froze"

This is a crazy song. It’s hauntingly beautiful organ harmony and clear rumba rhythm make this a classic, but the lyrics are strange. There’s no end to the theories of what they mean, and I’ve always wondered if they describe death by overdose - a metaphorical description of the feeling of being dragged helplessly to your death by your own ecstasy for drugs. I don’t really know, but the truth is that it is probably nothing more then the pompous quasi-existential ramblings of pseudo-intellectualists shooting their mouths off about stuff only they pretend to be smart enough to get. Hippies are like that.
The things I listen to in the middle of the night. I have to go back to bed, my dumbass cat woke me up howling at racoons.
