Oh... My... GOD!!! I'm away for.... *ticks off on his fingers* about 2 months all told (life is really REALLY busy all of a sudden 
) And I come back to see my favorite tv show discussing one of my all time favorite Anime Shows!!! *is in heaven*
Chris, you simply MUST watch the series... I managed to talk my dad, who utterly hates anime... well, not hates, but gives me a hard time for watching it... into watching the movie... and managed to get him into the series as well.... such a KICK ASS THEME!!! I really need to find Tank! for my iPod!!! Also, on a side note.... I am now rushing to watch Cowboy Bebop again!!!

Easily one of the coolest anime shows EVER!!! The show is OLD and still gets much love! From what I remember Best Buy usually has these in stock and the price isn't horrible either. Not to mention Adult Swim reruns them all the time, usually once a year.
Cool to see alot of Browncoats into this show too.

I always watch the movie as part of the show (after episode 21, I think...?) So it all flows together nicely...Kinda like Firefly & Serenity...
I love them both so much - they are two of three shows that I actually enjoy, and the third is starting to suck bigtime this season...so it's nice to have shows like these - untampered with, only good things to show, not mediocre crap that usually comes along with years of rehashed stories.

Bebop is pretty cool, but is it totally out of line for me to say that I enjoyed Outlaw Star quite a bit more? I know this is an appreciation thread and all, and it's apples and oranges in a way (well, maybe granny smith v. macintosh), but I'm just sayin'.
I do have to say that I can't go so far as to agree with HK, though. I usually do so well with agreeing with her...
