I have an TJ Wrangler ('02) before they came out with the Unlimited (extended) and the four door. I think the other two are sort of funny looking...although I think the 4-door is cute enough...but it doesn't look like a Jeep to me.
One thing holding me back with selling the Jeep is that I don't like the newer ones, so purchasing another down the road means getting the new squarer (if that's possible...mine is already quite box-shaped, but with rounded corners) version. Also the fact that Wranglers hold their value REALLY well means that I can't just decide in a year that I don't really like the Yaris and want another Jeep.
It's similar to my thoughts about moving out of California. I could move to another state and probably be better off than I am here...but how do you move back when the cost of living is so much more expensive? My Jeep is the California of cars.

(BTW, I only mean Wrangler when I say Jeep. The other models are just Jeep's answer to the SUV craze. They have the name stamped on them, but they're not really Jeeps.
Cherokee = Explorer, 4Runner, Pathfinder. Liberty = Escape, Rav4, etc. There is only one Jeep.

HUGS Rugbug...my brother in law would just love hearing you talk like that. He is part owner of a jeep dealership... so naturally we all drive jeeps...( except my mom who's a rebel and went with a PT Cruiser)

Well, then. You'll have to hook me up when it's time to come back to Jeep.

I'm going to miss the 'Jeep Wave'. A little Wrangler solidarity, if you will.
As for the PT Cruiser, I rented one when I drove to Fresno for the EqualityNow screening of Serenity. I wasn't impressed. It had a very strange feel...and the blindspots. Oh, my. Plus, the magnets I made (Logo and BDM or BUST!) didn't stick to it. But that could be the fault of the magnetic paper and not the car.

Okay...
Cherokee = Jeep's answer to the station wagon.

(Actually, I did really like my friend's Grand Wagoneer. It was old and had wood panelling. That sucker was cool.
