'Browncoats Rising' is a special composition
created by Austin Wintory , an award-winning film
and entertainment media composer . Austin is a
Browncoat and true Firefly fan . He created
'Browncoats Rising' at the suggestion of the
Independent Spaceborne Forces , and it was played
in special tribute to 'Swanny' , or
Steve Swanson , the first Browncoat Astronaut ,
the man who shuttled the Firefly and Serenity
discs to the International Space Station .
But , it's a composition for ALL OF US , so
please enjoy 'Browncoats Rising' at

This song is wonderful.
Ordinarily I don't plug merchandise, but I went to a mini-con recently and listened to a group called Bedlam Bards.
One of the Bards is a big-time Browncoat and has made his own compilation CD of filk of Firefly called On the Drift.
Four stars.
