Yesterday, Browncoats voted 974 (851) times.

Yesterday, Xenites voted 493 (459) times.

(Xenites voted 481 (392) times less than Browncoats, yesterday).

Firefly got 22 more votes, yesterday than the next two top-ranking shows. combined: Xena 493, and Bonanza 459!

Firefly is 50,581 (50,100) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #40 show Hercules: The Legendary Journeys 49,065!

Browncoat votes rose by 123 yesterday, 14.46%; Xenite votes rose by 34, 7.41%.

Our next, big goal is half a million, 28,110 (29,084) votes away, still about 28.86 (34.17) days out as we are currently voting.

4,947,676 (4,937,938) votes have been counted as of 11/19/07. 9,738 (9,389) votes were cast yesterday. In order to take ownership of 10% of all votes cast yesterday, we needed to vote 974 (939) times, which we matched exactly. Our share rose to 9.5376099% (9.536694%) of all votes ever cast.

Again, the holidays are gonna play hob with our voting, especially this week, in the US. Just do as well as you can!

Weekends are gonna always be a problem; we also have the rest of the choppy holiday season ahead of us. But, we're Browncoats, and, we need to keep our banner, and, our votes up!

Holiday Stats Answers:

Insert standard disclaimers here. Our daily votes were nowhere near stable (even by current standards), ramping up rapidly, margins of error, data set is too small for meaningful analysis, harder than you might think to normalize as the growth rate wasn't linear, blah, blah, blah... Here's my best guestimations:

For the 4 days before,
Thanksgiving (USA)(11/23/06),
and the 4 days after (9 day span):
Our votes were off by about 13% from what was expected.

Our current voting average is 1,114
13% of which is ~: 145
Expected votes for Thanksgiving week(ish): 969
Toss in a standard deviation, and I figure anything in the 900's (higher of course being better) is about right.
