Just turned 44. Still the same nut I was when I was fourteen, I just express my needs better, is all.

I'm 26 and I can relate to the directionless stance. I'm working in the area that I've been trained for, but that doesn't mean I have direction.

As for schooling, I went to University of Guelph my first year, transferred to McGill, got a degree in Linguistics and went to work at Tim Hortons. I followed that up with a certificate in Technical Writing from Fanshawe College in London. Now I live in Montreal. But still lacking in the directional department.

:)

I turn 26 next month but I look 17. After grad school I was a reporter. Now I'm an English teacher. Next year I hope to be a screenwriter. Maybe one day I'll pick something.

And I think I'm supposed to be flying the plane, but I'm pretty sure my students are in the cockpit while I'm in the back shouting directions.

"Dear diary, today I was pompous and my sister was crazy."

Really? one of my roommates for nextyear is (at the moment) a freshman from Maine.....hmmmmm.

Course, alot of people from Maine come here. but it'd be a crazy coincidence, wouldn't it? If he were one of your friends, I mean

I'm actually planning on visiting NYC around May, looking into graduate programs. So, hey, who knows? Firefly professional networking... I like it.

Do you live in NYC now? You're fortunate if so- Missouri is not exactly a bastion of culture.

You got a wife? All I got is that dumbass stick sounds like it's raining.

Yay, another Missouri person! Although of course I agree about the slight lack of culture here, it's always very neat to find other fans nearby. I've only been to NYC once, but I LOVED it. I can't wait to go back some day. Anyway, very nice to "meet" you!

So happy not to be the oldest at 43,

I remember continually missing Firefly - and not really caring. I saw a little "Our Mrs. Reynolds" and "Out Of Gas." Finally, I saw most of "Ariel" and thought "Hey this is pretty good." You good people here can guess the rest.

Keep on flying.

Thanks goodness, Zoid, I was starting to feel REALLY old ... I'm 44, no grandbabies yet, just two kids, 12 & 14 (AARRGGHH!!!), both FFFs.

Just because I'm OLD enough to be your mama, doesn't mean I'm gonna ACT like your mama!

Well guess I'll chime in.

33 this month, Divorced, never went on to school after high school. Been across the country, worked as an alarm technician, computer repair technician, auto mechanic, manual turret lathe operator, cabinetmaker, Infantryman, Construction worker, Radio Shack Manager, Construction at UT/Austin, back to cabinetmaking now.

My ship is most definatly piloted by me and as you can see its been a bouncy ride. Tryin now to get my own cabinet company off the ground so "I never have to be under anyones heel again." so to speak.

I'm 26, engaged, and STILL in undergrad. I'm at my third school. And yes! I'm tired but I want that degree in something I'll use!!! I was an aerospace engineering major before dipping into theater.

Love is the gift at the end of a long journey of self exploration and inner peace.
