Somebody just nominated all the Firefly characters (except Mal and River) for deletion/merging over at Wikipedia. Now, I am definitely _not_ asking people to flood the AfD with "keep" not-votes: that won't help.

What _will_ help is "reliable sources" that talk about this other characters. _Finding_Serenity_ is the obvious one, but we need at least one other. So, if you know of any online or offline articles about the characters (blog posts most emphatically do _not_ count), please either go add them to the articles, or post them here and I'll add them.

Thanks!

What about the Serenity RPG book?

The RPG book isn't canon, but the Official Companions have a great deal of character information, and there are three of them; two for the series and one for the movie. So those could be cited.

Firefly Official Companion: Volume 1
Firefly Official Companion: Volume 2
Serenity Visual Companion

I think all of them have Joss as the 'author' but I will have to check.

I am selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes. I am out of control. And sometimes I'm a little hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

"Serenity Found" may also have references to all the characters and therefore could be cited.

Will the official movie page from Universal and it's listing of the characters work?

Their existence isn't is question: just their notability for independent articles. I found a scholarly article on Inara that I added to her article: the Serenity Companion books aren't considered independent sources, obviously. :-)

Sorry, I don't think I thought thru what you were looking for.

I'll see if I can find anything and get back here with it.

*mutters to herself... "independent sources silly" whilst walking out of thread.*
