Hey guys!
As most of you know by now, there will be a Mutant Enemy Strike Day on December 7, 2007 (it's a Friday). I've been lamenting the fact that I wish I was down in L.A. to join the picket line so when I heard about the ME Day, I thought, this is my chance!
The problem? I'm not in L.A. at all. My (not-so-military) base is Vancouver, BC. I also happen to be a student who cannot afford to fly down for a couple of days. And Greyhound would have me spend more time on the bus than in Los Angeles...
So. I figure why not drive down? It's only 20 hours away! But I need a companion (not THAT way), or possibly two, or three! (The more the merrier!) Y'know, so that I don't kill myself driving for 20 hours on my own and also because it would bring down costs for everyone. I can get a discount rate for an hotel room, too, so all in all if I could find fellow Browncoats to drive down with me, it could be feasible for minimum expenses!
In short... are you a driver's-license-owning Browncoat in support of the strike? Do you wish you could be there on Mutant Enemy Day? Do you live in Vancouver or somewhere on the coast between Vancouver and Los Angeles? Then let's make it happen!! My email is joey.breizh @ gmail.com, so send me a message and we can work something out. It's a little (completely, River-style) crazy, but it's doable, and how fun would it be to get to be there for the writers?
(I hope I'm posting in the right section - it seemed most appropriate.)
