Thanks for the heads up! I went over at 10am this morning and had to go to THREE Targets before I found a copy in stock! All the clerks were shaking their heads, because they'd just restocked the night before... :)

There was only one copy of Firefly at my Target, and none of either version of the BDM. I bought the series, and also got a rain check for two other copies as well. Neither of the three people I spoke to could answer the question of why a sale item would not be in stock.

Shiny ! Went to Tar-Jay this a.m. , scoured the shelves ; found lotsa cool stuff on sale ! No particularly nice coats of a 'brownish' color , though !

Saw three of the Firefly boxsets ; I glommed onto 2 of them , leaving another for the next 'Coat to pass through this rim of the 'Verse...Don't know how many they started with , or how many more remain in a back stockroom , but I'll watch to see if they re-stock...If the remaining set doesn't move , I'll strategically re-emplace it on the shelves for greater visibility...

Plan B includes watching to see if they truly run out , and demanding (nicely!) to get a few Rain Checks !

Any folk who might hafta leave the store without the loot might consider the 'rain check' thing , in case they need to get back to 'the job' on another occasion , or are short of cashy money this week...I seem to always find the coin , if allowed a little time and opportunity !

This is an ideal occasion to boost the 'Firefly For Firefighters' campaign !
