This is all pending WGA strike, of course.
I say while the strike is on let's skip the
monologues and just get right to the guests.
Makes it lots more bearable when a show is
rerun many moons later if you don't have to
hear about old news as if it had just happened.

You are right. Thanks. I was remembering something that said the 8th but what it meant was Wednesday night after midnight in my area.
So taping Wednesday afternoon and showing Wednesday night/Thursday morning depending on timezone.

Discussing the plans for talk shows now that the WGA strike is on, Reuters says: In late-night, such shows as NBC's "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" and "Saturday Night Live," as well as Comedy Central's "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" and "The Colbert Report," are scheduled to go dark immediately. CBS' "Late Show With David Letterman" and "The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson" also are expected to go into repeats. Not a good sign...

Ah-yup! The schedules, when I checked them,
were mostly re-runny, inluding Craig.
Better luck next time, I guess.
Drat it.
As stated: who needs the monologues all the
time anyway? Skip them for now and do more
and/or longer guest spots.
