40, I work for as an Engineer Technician for a public works in Northern California. Defender of my country, but only on the weekends. As for flying this thing, I do, but only if this thing you refer to is a UH-1 Huey. I suspect that you (all) are refering to the much bigger picture.

24 here, out of college and curiously directionless. It seems as soon as college is done I lost my purpose.
Like to attend graduate school soon, but in which field I'm not quite sure. Either film or theatre direction, I'd like to study both but can't decide which yet.
As for those of you who are in college wondering "who's flying this thing?," wait until you get done with school. It just gets more complicated. I'll pose the question, as so many of you here seem so wisened in the ways of the world: is it normal to lose your direction after college? Or am I just lazy?

Nah, I'd say it's pretty normal to lose your direction after college. I know I did for a while, too.
