18 years old, and wonderfully lost.

I'm 32, going on 19, look 25, fully career-ed (with this irritating little 'side-job' of soldiering), engaged, and guess what? You NEVER figure out 'who's flying this damn thing' until you're on your way out. So my advice is to enjoy the ride. . .even the bumpy parts.
Gorram that made me sound old.

32 here, software developer (though my education is BA and MA in Philosophy, with a BSc in both of Computer Science and Physics), married. I think I've always known the right answer to "Who's flying this thing!?" (viz. "Oh right, that would be me"), but that doesn't mean it's easy.

I'm 15, but I've been watching the show since I was 13. (Started with the 2nd episode aired

Masters in Library Science. I'm actually really enjoying it, I'm just at the point of the semester where I'm seriously wondering why I left all this work for the last minute.

Eldest thus far, I'm 45, a grampa twice over, air traffic control specialist for the past 18 years. Who's flying this thing? I'm not sure, but I doubt very seriously it's any of the pilots I've talked to...

Read all of the responses and just want to say that all of you including the 39 year old are still children! After adulthood one never gets older on the inside, only on the outside (got that from my 90 year old auntie). Anyway, I'm 55 and still flyin'.
And I'm thinkin' you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling

You're not the eldest anymore, Zoid.
53, and still going strong, just don't know my destination yet.

34, college-edumacated (BA South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, English Lit), married and no kids. It's awesome - double income no kids! Woohoo!!
As to who's flying - nobody. We're sorta' spinning out of control until we hit something, and then we just change direction...

I know your name, Jackass.
