Advice needed from Albany, NY area Browncoats

I know from previous messages going back a while that there are more than a few of you out there in the capital district of good old NYS. (In fact, I met at least two at the most recent Browncoat Ball.)

Anyway...my daughter will be transferring to a college in Albany this coming January, and she's looking for affordable, fairly decent off-campus housing. (Forget University Heights--that's like super-dorm pricing!) She's looking for something big enough to share with another person; hopefully 2 bedrooms. We know there are apartments in houses in certain neighborhoods (we saw a bad choice last weekend--a basement flat that was really awful, over on S. Main near Madison Avenue). If anyone has suggestions or knows of some possibilities in the area of the pharmacy school, College of St. Rose and Sage College, please respond.
