From the MSNBC story: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21430375/
Quote:
Gu Gu was in the news last year when he was bitten by a drunken tourist. The man jumped into the bear's pen and tried to hug him, but was bitten instead. The tourist retaliated by biting the bear in the back.
Why does Gu Gu keep attracting these crazies? The other Pandas are starting to look at him funny.
And this makes the score:
Panda: 2
Idiots: 0
Next challenger!

About 15 years ago some nut climbed into the cage with our zoo's polar bear ( because he felt that his ninja skills would protect him) and they were able to locate one foot and a few remnants of clothing...sadly they had to pump the poor bear's stomach because they weren't sure if the man had any diseases or if the clothing might make the bear ill.
Maybe karate schools should include helpful information about the results of fighting with bears in their lesson plans...

True martial arts training would have you avoid the bear's attack by, like, NOT CLIMBING INTO IT'S GORRAM CAGE!
