The episode "Magnificent Warriors" in the original BSG took place in SERENITY- a town that you never left once you became sheriff.

Western...I think Raquel Welch might have been

Ok, ok okI got it!
Joss is a young clone of Glen Larson, without any conscious memories, but genetically retains all that Glen did. Therefore, he tried to copy BSG, but mixed up the details.

Magnificent Warriors...great episode with Twilight Zone veteran Barry Nelson, and Match Game icon Brett Sommers( wife of Jack Klugman ).
Quite the "Whedonesque-type" presentation, with drama & humor & ironic twists aplenty.
Hey Chris...it's been a real kindness having you post all this original BSG stuff lately. Because of it, I watched Living Legend and Planet of the Gods this past weekend. Most shiny, and for my money the closest thing I own to Firefly. You da manisall!

Be sure you check out the BSG featurette on the last disc for comments by Patrick McNee and Anne Lockhart about War of the Gods. He's a hoot and she is still amazing.
