Work was poopy, then we had a meeting, then it was more poopy, and then I figured out part of why I've been so cranky for the last few days. I mean, more than was necessarily strictly warranted...

Our wonderful loverly lawyer dropped off a big, thick envelope full of completed paperwork just before I left work. We're officially closed and no longer homeowners!
WOOT!!!

Then I got to go watch son get his yellow belt!
Then we let him pick dinner. McDonald's. ( I knew the day had taken too much of an upswing, oh well.)

I'm tired. I'm cranky. I want chocolate and salt and grease and ibuprofen and bed. Not necessarily in that order.

Barkeep!
I'll please for to have the super-gigundus sized mango daquiri en flambee to prepare me for yet another day of "who called in/is hiding/is on her cell phone or other personal call/is being a raging cow and needs a good thumping, and then there's the patients". Whee. I'd pretend tomorrow will be better, but I know it won't.

But son is very cute when he's all excited and proud.
And we're closed.
Could be worse.

*makes sure StinkingRose has everything she needs*

Congrats on the closing!

Ok, is it just me or does this feel like it has been a really long week?

Math = BAH!

However, the rest of my day was quite shiny

Until it got cold

*settles into a soft chair with some hot tea*

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

Zero! You got new piccy things (there's a name for those but I'm too tired to think).

Plus Tristan was in who I've not spoken to for AGES! And Stinkingrose has fun and exciting news and Gee's other half has teacher troubles that I wish to partake fully of so that I might sympathise properly.

See, I KNEW I was missing out on lots of fun stuff yesterday. Darn this accursed schedule!

Should be around a bit more today (it's my morning off so I allowed myself to come in at 10am! Gasp! Feel better for the lie in though so no more moaning today!)

Thanks for all the sympathy iun the last thread! And the alcohol too.

mornin' drinkers.

*puts on a pot of The Good Stuff*

It has seemed like a very long week. Thank goodness today is the last of it for me. Got a bachelor party tonight in Atlanta, then my buddy's wedding all weekend in Columbus.

*grabs a bottle of Craggenmore and hops in the hammock out on the deck*

EDIT:
*jumps up and glomps the hell outta his Merri-doll*

Hey babe, long time no see in here. We've missed you.

*gets her a huge Bailey's and ice cream*
