Well atleast that clears up that he actully meant what he said on moviehole, and t wasnt some misquote or misinterpretation. My gut feeling if that Joss is not responding cause its now a real possibility a sequel will be made and he wants to talk abut it at the fan conference at the end of this month. Lets not forget that Austin Powers wasnt a hit at the cinema but the sequel was signed off on the back of the dvd sales and fan base (odd comparison i know but you know what i mean)

Almost exactly a year ago, Joss was quick to smother a Serenity 2 rumor "With a pillow," to save the Browncoat community any false hopes.

Not a peep from Joss, in almost two weeks, and, this story is BIG. The other possible reason he isn't talkin' is that he's still in negotiations with Universal, and, until the deal is signed, he doesn't want to say anything, because he wants any infor he provides to be SOLID.

Could be the same reaon he hasn't even said much about the tremendous sales of the BDCE, even though it sold out of many vendors in the first week of release, clearly well beyond initial projections. Normally, he would be thankin' us for that accomplishment.

However, after tellin' us that the hopes of a sequel probably lay with the BDCE, Joss would have to answer to what he had said, if he commented on the DVD sales, before he was ready.

I'm just gonna give Joss all the time he needs. I'm pretty certain he's gonna say somethin.'

Just a matter of time.
