For my part, I am very glad to have come here and made so many good Browncoat friends here, just vumpin.' Nicer, still, that I see so many of you on other threads, or, even, on the other boards I frequent, as well.

The tool, as published, either voted solely for Lexx or for a group of shows; hourly voting, especially for continuous 24 hour periods, will be glaring in the raw stats. It also means that the 'upper end' of false votes for other shows is the votes tied to Lexx votes at the same time/ip.
The question is, does Rich want to bother doing the analysis. No idea; it's a nasty bit of work to have foisted upon him. My guess is it will turn out there's only a few folks that ever got the tool to work, and the adjustments will end up being less than 100 votes a day for Lexx and probably less than 50 a day for FF. Here's hoping that after any analysis that Rich decides the false voting was marginal and he either slaps a relatively minor deduction to the shows that benefited from it; and then clamps down on future auto voting. But that's just me thinking out loud.

Oog. Now, we have a Bonanzai who is taking this opportunity to lay accusations of malfeasance at Firefly's feet:

...As if, while Lexx sometimes couldn't break 250 votes/day, with their own program, propagated on their own, rather obscure site, to their own people, Browncoats of course took it and ran with it, basing our tremendous success on it thereafter.
I really hate that this whole... relationship... with Lexx has placed us under suspicion, and, invalidates our achievements before the rest of the TV Vote community.
This is turning into a gorram nightmare. I'm actually beginning to wonder if some Firefly votes /might/ have been illegitimate. The whole notion sickens me.

But Fedexx, thanks for the apology. I don't like your view on it, but you seem to be sincere in the regret on how our fanbase's honor is being questioned.
