So quiet in here. Is everybody on nap time or something?

I got nothing for pondering though. Anybody seen any good movies in theaters lately or looking forward to something coming out? I haven't been to the movies since knocked up and there's really nothing jumping out at me.

Favorite weekend - go do some lounging, play lots of games, computer and board games(got kids ya know) and then hit a amusement park.

No new movies in theaters right now have my interest. Lots that are past though.

With FFF.net being up and down before the weekend, I think most folks haven't had a chance to post. (That's my reason at least.)

It's gonna be a looooonnnng week. State testing week. Wheeeee. Already spent a couple of hours at work simply prepping for the test set up.

*huggles RIMG, huggles nvg* *hugs everyone else who wants one* *borrows MrG from MsG to get a geekhug*

Imponderable question: How far would you go for a relationship you'd like to pursue? For example: been talking to someone for a lifetime and finally meet them. There's definite sparkage there on both sides. Would you start working on a plan to move across the continent? Halfway across the continent? Split the distance between the two of you and go that far?

(Yep, my geek made a definite impression on me.)

I guess it depends on how firm the relationship truely is. I'd think you'd want a trial run before comitting to moving only to have something fall apart 3 months later ya know?

Neko...if it was really worth it...anywhere on earth!
Definitely would want to do some visiting and such to make sure, but ends of the earth is not too far for a great relationship:) HUGS and vicarious geek hugs! eeew the icky of state testing...nothing like hours of prep just so you can sit in utter silence for many many days only to be judged :) Not fairly judged mind you. The test scores compare the scores of this years students to the scores of students from last year...so apparently we teachers can make each new batch of students smarter than the last...who knew we had super powers?

Hmmm sorry no good movies and if trailers are to be believed no real plans for any good movies any time soon...sigh.

Rugbug- I'd so love to go running with you, but I'm betting with your long legs you'd outpace me quickly... :) I can ride really well though:)

Well there's definitely more info needed for that question. Like if I was married to someone and they had a great job opportunity in Japan of course I'd move to stay with them and be all supportive and stuff. However, in the situation you're talking about with moving in order to start a relationship I'd have to say no where.

I mean there's no way to know if the relationship would last longer than 2 weeks and the added pressure of moving couldn't possibly help things. Then anything else that goes wrong is subconsciously the other person's fault. "I can't find a good job here and it's all your fault cause I moved for you" type of stuff. You also have the pressure of having no other friends in the area so it's like 24/7 focus on each other. That's not healthy for a new relationship. Gotta have other friends and other hobbies to give each other a break sometimes.

I think you need to stick with logic on this one. I know that the sparkage of a new relationship is like crack and all, but even if you move sparks don't last. You might get lucky and it will start a fire, but just don't let the sparks blind you and make you do something you'll regret.

Happy Monday all!

Sorry about the testing Neko. It seems schools are getting more and more ridiculous with the learning/testing requirements.

I pretty much had the perfect weekend. Almost exactly like what I listed above...'cept a little too much cleaning and not quite enough lounging around. College friends came to town on Sunday, so we took the kids to the pumpkin patch, then the beach, then to my house (note to self: not only is your house not kid-proof, it's not even kid friendly) then to dinner, then to another pumpkin patch (first was so crowded we didn't get pumpkins). Needless to say, I was happy to see them go as I was exhausted. I don't know how my friend deals with three on daily basis.

I'll run with you anytime. :D It's doubtful I'd outpace anyone. I'm not built for running, I'm built for things like track cycling, shotput, speed skating...anything that needs strong thighs. I run because it's easy...put on a pair of shoes and go...but I HATE it.
