I remember back in the day when the browncoats actually had a fight on their hands! None of this mamby-pamby "How many days over 1,000 votes" garbage.
They were back in 6th place, hoping HOPING they might be able to catch Gunsmoke. Had a whopping 42,775 votes to their name, and were happy to get 100 votes in a day, didn't even dream of 1,000 votes in a week back then. Gunsmoke beat 'em as often as not, and catch Xena?! Hah, she was so far above that you couldn't even be sure she was wearing a skirt.
Bonanza, now /that/ was a fandom I tell ya. 470 votes per day, day in, day out. Them and LaFemme Nikita. Those two had a shot at catching Xena. X-what? Battle where? Buffy? Never heard of 'em. They never had a chance.
Now? Well… Just look at the numbers.
