well, the article adds nothin - but the concept is sound... direct to dvd 'movies' allows Universal to bend the licensing clause... and gives us (hopefully) another shiny dvd set:)

I'm trying not to get to carried away in this sequel thing (you know just in case)

but its bloody hard not to jump up and down and begin the prepared sequel dance

and if you think about it, the amount of websites this rumor has popped up on shows just how much people want it

Might actually be better than a theatrical release, as there won't be the limitation of having to jam the whole lot into a two-and-a-half hour action romp. It could be split into several parts over more than one disc, giving more time for that subtle character stuff that we love from the series...

I **LIKE** the way you think... this little light of mine indeed.. and we HAVE done the impossible.. whatever it takes to get more verse.. well, it would just be sooo sweet!!

and notice that it is ALAN (aka WASH) who has been mentioning this possibility.... I think that bodes well for some in between story with Book and Wash still prominently there... sweeter still!

Well, folks, here's how I see it. We gotta keep the signal strong and we gotta make it go further. In other words we gotta keep buzzin'! In whatever way, we have to generate enough buzz to convince 'Versal and TPTB that the interest in this story is powerful and widespread enough to be a worthwhile venture. It's been done once, it can be done again, and YOU, my friends, are all amongst them as made it happen.
